Cute Paper Flower Headband.....

Today I would like to share with you a Design Team Post for the The Cutting Cafe. Today's inspiration post for the Cutting Cafe is the Paper Flower template and cutting file. This file comes in the following formats: PDF, WPC and SVG and can be resized to fit every need. The one thing I love about the The Cutting Cafe files is that they also come in PDF form in case you do not own a cutting machine and they are easy to cut by hand.

Now on to my project,

Today I decided to do something a little different with the Paper Flower set. I made one of many headbands to come for my daughter Sydney. I used a blue and tan flourish themed paper from Colorbok, added a “homemade” glitter sealer and topped off with a faux pearl.

I hope you enjoyed my creations today, stay tuned for next week’s presentation. Please visit the Cutting Café for all your die cut needs,

Fun with Wedding Blocks.....

Today I would like to share with you a Design Team Post for the The Cutting Cafe . Today's inspiration post for the Cutting Cafe is “Fun with Blocks”. This file comes in the following formats: PDF, WPC and SVG and can be resized to fit every need. The one thing I love about the The Cutting Cafe files is that they also come in PDF form in case you do not own a cutting machine and they are easy to cut by hand.

Now on to my project,
For my “Fun with Blocks” project I used paper from the Colorbok collection called neutral flowers. I then added a wedding dress and tuxedo and adorned with red, black, and clear bling and a little paper flower. I also used glitter swirls (another favorite), added pearl hearts on the base and topped with a pair of Love Birds. I finished my project by adding a sweet little sentiment of “I Do”.

I hope you enjoyed my creations today, stay tuned for next week’s presentation. Please feel free to stop at the Cutting Café for all your die-cut needs.

Jewelry Paper Beads........

Well where do I begin, this week's project was the Paper beads set… which was inspired by The Cutting Cafe , was definitely a challenge for me.

1. I do not make jewelry.

2. I do not make jewelry.

3.I am no good with challenges involving jewelry.

Although with this challenge I was pretty impressed, I didn't realize how sturdy a strip of paper could be. This file comes in the following formats: PDF, WPC and SVG and can be resized to fit every need. The one thing I love about the The Cutting Cafe files is that they also come in PDF form in case you do not own a cutting machine and they are easy to cut by hand.

Now on to my project:

I cut my paper strips from the Rookie paper collection called “Valentine Dreams. I then rolled each strip around a quilling tool (but you can use a toothpick, ink pen, straw etc) and sealed with Decoupage Finish. After my beads were completely dry I added them to a chain with silver beads to complete the look.

I hope you enjoyed my creations today, stay tuned for next week’s presentation. Please stop by the Cutting café for all your die-cut needs.

Love is in the Air.......

Today I would like to share with you a Design Team Post for the The Cutting Cafe. Today's inspiration post for the Cutting Cafe is the Valentine Window Card Tops set. This file comes in the following formats: PDF, WPC and SVG and can be resized to fit every need. The one thing I love about the The Cutting Cafe files is that they also come in PDF form in case you do not own a cutting machine and they are easy to cut by hand.

Now on to my card,
Yes it’s another Valentine’s Day is right around the corner card. I thought I would be creative and play with Valentine Window Card Tops, template. For this card I used cream embossed paper with a black card underneath. I added a red shimmery heart, flourishes, pearls and a handmade flower and finished it off with an “I love you” sentiment.

I hope you enjoyed my creations today, stay tuned for next week’s presentation. Please stop by the Cutting Café for all your die-cut needs.
